Almost all of that work is accomplished with key
talented and driven volunteers!

RA 19 Festival Volunteer Opportunities
Be a part of RA19 by signing up to volunteer at a film screening or other festival event. There are all sorts of volunteer opportunities during the festival, from greeting people for a couple of hours at a post-film party to running a VIP reception room; from taking tickets to getting the films from point A to point B, there's a volunteer opportunity for everyone - and it'll be one you'll ENJOY to boot!

Our Key Volunteer Positions
Marketing and Communications Manager: Helps
the OIT Executive Director plan and create communication campaigns, collateral,
and other materials — either print or Internet based. This role
is acts as a liaison between the board of directors and staff of the
organization and its constituents such as volunteers, event patrons,
sponsors, VIP donors, the media, and the community at large.

Sage F50 Software Manager: The Sage Fundraising 50 Manager is responsible
for ensuring the effective use of the Sage Fundraising 50 software. He
or she will design a strategy and plan to help the organization know
past donors, build a history file of event data, identify potential donors,
and improve fund raising efforts through effective use of the software.

Volunteer Web Positions
Web Developers: Developers
are charged with maintaining and updating the code of the One
In Ten and Reel
Affirmations Web sites. The work will include the strategy,
planning, and execution of redesigning the sites and implementing a content
management system. Help to enhance the
online user experience by integrating third-party and vendor code and
building out functionality to help improve back-end operations.

Web Maintenance: Volunteers will assist the
organization by maintaining current the content of the One
In Ten and
Reel Affirmations Web
sites. The work will include content development and content uploading
and requires the individual(s) to be readily accessible to make updates
remotely.

Donor Contact and Database Positions
Database Manager: Ensures access to and
the integrity of One In Ten constituent data, one of the most critical
assets of the organization. The database manager will also search for
ways to improve revenue by using data mining methods for better communications
with constituents, targeted marketing of events, and improvement of OIT
offerings based on feedback received.

Data Entry Volunteers: Assist the organization by manually entering constituent
data into the main database used by the organization for tracking contacts,
sales, and donations (Sage Fundraiser 50 software).
